Who I am

I’m Gerwyn, founder of Coron Projects. I mentor the future leaders of engineering and construction projects, helping them grow professionally and personally beyond the limits of their current company.

Most organisations double down on systems and processes. I focus on something often overlooked: the people actually delivering the work. The ones stuck in the middle, juggling demands and trying to carve out a future.

I’ve been there. From a career that began in marine engineering and defence to years leading complex EPC projects, I know what it’s like to give your all and get little in return. To burn out inside broken systems, all while craving growth, autonomy and purpose.

So now, I’m building what I wish I’d had: a self-serve platform for development, backed by premium coaching for those who want more. This isn’t generic training or box-ticking CPD, it’s mentoring at scale, for ambitious professionals who want more than credentials.

My vision? To support 1 million professionals worldwide to become the confident, capable and well-supported leaders that future projects demand.

But this site isn’t about my CV. It’s about what I’ve learned and what I’m still learning.

It’s about staying human while delivering hard things.

Why I write

I don’t write because I’ve figured it all out. I write because I haven’t and I know I’m not alone.

The newsletter ‘Under the Surface’ is where I explore what it means to show up, lead well and find your own rhythm in a world that’s obsessed with urgency, noise and next steps.

It’s where I reflect on over two decades of project delivery, mental health struggles, recovery, parenting, business ownership and the everyday effort of trying to grow without losing yourself.

I write here for one type of person:
